Water. Wind. Warboel. Yep, autumn has set in.

Tijd voor warmte, knusheid, en huggles. En tussendoor dan effe door weer en wind je dagelijkse routines zien uit te voeren (;

Dussss. Helaas geen inkt voor mij, afgelopen woensdag. J.Tattoo kinda ran out of time het kuit-stuk van mijn geliefde zettende.

No worries tho, ik sta voor komende maand ingeboekt, dan kunnen we aan mijn frontpiece verder gaan!

De laatste twee maandjes van het jaar komen er weer aan, tijd om friends ‘n family ècht te laten merken wat ze voor je betekenen. Tevens dé tijd van het jaar om jezelf eens kritisch onder de loep te nemen. Persoonlijk moet ik op zoek naar nieuwe uitdagingen, workwise dan. Afgelopen twee jaar enorm veel geleerd, en daar ben ik bepaalde mensen ontzettend dankbaar voor, echter anderen maken het me haast weer onmogelijk te groeien, trying to box me in. I can’t be boxed in. Tijd om de kudde langzaam aan te verlaten dus. Tevens tijd om meer met FNF te doen: de family bezoeken, het eigen gezinnetje opstarten, meer bonden met de teammates.

First things on the agenda:
* filmpje pakken met de misses, my main man D, en vriendje Ron, aanstaande dinsdag in België
* hopelijk het Rockabella event in Breda bezoeken, afhankelijk van mijn werktijden komende week
* de moedertjes bezoeken in november, zo ook mein schwesterlein & ‘Sathan’ (succes met de operatie!!)
* Persistence toertje meepikken eind v/d maand, hopelijk met Candee
* en onze nieuwe NBA Nights @ Preach’s crib

….tussendoor dan nog de tattoo sesh, 2 holiday weekjes, hangen met Ramonster, Suzy, en wat lokale gigs attenden.

De herfst komt hard deze dagen. Rain, wind, leaves, en toch heeft het zo z’n charme ..als je tenminste op de bank voor de buis hangt met een deken, good company, en a nice cup of English tea. Weet je nog, vroeger, van die dagen dat je gewoon niet uit je pyama kwam? Dat mams je een groot bord wortelstamp voorschotelde. Met braadworst. En een beetje mosterd, dat je er dan gretig doorheen roerde. En dat iedereen dan samen op de bank voor de kijkbuis hing. Die dagen, die houden we erin zeg ik.

Toch ben ik ook wel actief in de herfst hoor, zo kijk ik uit naar mijn volgende sessie met J.Tattoo. Over anderhalve week beginnen we met het shaden van mijn frontpiece. In november heb ik nog een beetje vakantie, 2 gezellige winter weekjes off w/ mijn dame. En onderstaande belooft ook goed te worden:

Het nieuwe album van Evergreen Terrace blaas ik non-stop. Alleen afgewisseld door een ietwat belated purchase van Vanna’s nieuwste disc. Waar mijn zomer hiphop is, is mijn winter hardcore.

Zo, nu kruip ik weer terug onder de deken op de bank, krijg ik een dampend bord voorgeschoteld, en gaan we Judgement Night kijken.

Met een don maffia stem: so they made me an offer I can’t refuse…. maar dat heeft je boy tòch gedaan. Hahaha. Basically kwam het er op neer dat ik storemanager in een v/d kleinere filialen, namelijk Roermond, mocht worden. Het zou zeker een paar grote voordelen hebben t.o.v. mijn huidige situatie, echter heeft het ook een shitload aan nadelen voor me. Alles op een rijtje zettende bleef de weegschaal uit balans dus het oordeel was duidelijk: ik heb vriendelijk bedankt. Het meeste misschien nog wel niet om het aanbod zelf, maar juist om de weg die ertoe geleid heeft, de complete mindf*ck ‘gedachte’ die erachter lijkt te steken.

Je boy blijft dus gewoon je boy, en je boy doet niet mee aan ge-ouwehoer.

I do wonder…. how many people actually check my blog?! I mean, what if I like suddenly ..continued in ‘t Nederlands? Kan zomaar gebeuren. Mijn ‘thuis taaltje’ is wat ik ooit “Dunglish” gedoopt heb: Dutch mixed w/ English.

Nothing much has happened the past 2 weeks, maar skies are blue:

Mijn misses blijft er rete-goed uitzien.

En ik voel me allom geliefd door degenen die er echt toe doen.

What else does one need? Helemaal in een tijd waar de samenleving ‘overloopt van de kameleons die geen kleur willen bekennen’.

Today was a succes! Good people came out for my Dirty Thirty Birthday BBQ Bonanza, haha. The whole week leading up to it was good actually.

Started off last Sunday w/ BreakFest.

Followed by Burrito´s and Guitar Hero World Tour vs Rockband.

Then Wednesday was my actual bday. I spend that at Clean Solid Tattoo, where J.Tattoo did some more work on my frontpiece.

And then today we celebrated my 30st w/ fam & friends FNF.

Was my very first time EVER, on a board ‘n slope. You can imagine we needed some practice first, haha.

After that we got a lil some to eat before hitting the big slope. And yesh, ya boy went all out and even hit the Fun Park (with Saskia as my gardian angel!).

Guys.. this prolly was THEE bestest early bday gift I’ve ever had. Love y’all!!

The week started off w/ my girls bday, took her out to eat sushi. It was nais!!!!

On Sunday we jetted off to Antwerp to team up w/ my sister. Keywords: yahtzee, sunshine, backyard, McShakes, when-it-rais-it-pours, ‘Lords of Dogtown’, basketball, aminals.

Came back on the Wednesday ….only to head out to Cologne on Thursday, hahaha. Keywords there: the little human, ‘Maffia Wars’, ice run, BBQ, iPhone fun, drunk brother-in-law, coffee house.

Bottom line? I had some good days (:

A week off of work ahead of me, and the dreaded 3-O dawning on me. I say it might be time to have a look at ’self’, conciously. I have my own ways to do that of course, first up is take ‘me’ out of my usual habitat. Meaning we’re gonna go visit my sister in Antwerp for a few days. It’s always good bouncing thoughts & ideas off eachother. Plus I can get a wiff of the different culture out there. Second half of the week we’ll be in Cologne again (going there alot lately, haha). Will be surrounded by fam&friends F&F, which in turn will teach me alot bout my ways and feelings aswell. Then in about a month and a half my bday’s coming up. Looking at the wishlist I compiled, it makes me wonder who I am and how I come across. Have a looksee….

I do know one thing already tho: he who says he accomplished it all, just does not aim high enough.

Constantly reinvent yourself.
That’s my key to happiness.
